I don't think that the problem is that the game is too difficult: I think that it's not clear how to learn how to play it. The main issue is that you need to keep the points and bonus/malus to a level where you kind of feel there is a challenge if you don't take some "social" solutions in practice. It's either you get a kind of multiplicator and you kind of level the options back (like an hospital would be needed at tier 2 or 3 if you don't want to end with so much malus that you can just say farewell to mars). The levelling and increase in possibilities after each game is fine by me, what needs to be verified is the - points per stage in regard to the possible options the player has to level that malus. In this way, the advanced players can skip ahead faster while the starting players can take their time learning with the easier difficulties without much stress. If we would allow you to skip further ahead and unlock more difficulty levels early next week, will it be fixed for you? I'll make sure to add challenging difficulties, to the same level it was before (I think even more difficult). I think the issue is the structure we have currently, that requires you to finish an easier game before advancing to a next one. Also streamers were struggling which was painful to watch.īut I definitely see your point. We have to confess, we were shaken up a lot by the negative reviews saying the game was too hard (this is our first game). Originally posted by Jasper:Thanks for the feedback. I need the threat of losing to be real and constant. Yet current state of the game offers no challenge whatsoever to me. I do not take notes nor plan very far ahead, and just play each turn as it comes. This has ruined it for the rest of us and should have been a menu option. I think you fell into that old classic dev trap of listening to players complain about the difficulty and nerfing it when in fact it was just that they are quite bad at the game. Just finished a Green path run with 9500 Support and +250 Support per turn. Your recent change nerfed the difficulty to the point that it's more or less pointless playing this now. I absolutely love this game, and it is heart-breaking when a change is made for all the wrong reasons that essentially kills the game. I am only being brutally honest with my feedback here.
